Organic growth

Zero paid acquisition. Self-funded hosting. The IIT Madras BS Degree community became the top referral source on its own.

AceGrade was a free, ad-free exam-prep platform I founded and ran solo for a year: product, growth, content, community, analytics, infrastructure. Everything.

I grew a 10,000+ member learning community alongside the platform, ran continuous user research, and iterated from funnel data: when the quiz evaluator showed drop-off, I redesigned it to explain why an answer was wrong, not just that it was. Retention followed.

Alongside it I shipped AceGuide, a campus navigation app used by 5K+ students during IIT Madras fests, leading a 5-person dev team end to end.

That year taught me what no course can: what it feels like when the product, the user, and the consequence are all yours.
